How Our Referral Credits Work

We’re always grateful when clients send great people our way, and we’ve built a simple credit system to say thank you!

When someone books a headshot session and mentions your name, you’ll receive credit based on the package they choose:

• $20 credit for every ONE LOOK ($295) session you refer

• $30 credit for every TAKE TWO ($475) session you refer

• $45 credit for every THE STANDARD ($650) session you refer

• $60 credit for every THE MONTAGE ($800) session you refer

• $75 credit for every THE BLOCKBUSTER ($950) session you refer


Credits apply only to photography packages — hair & makeup add-ons aren’t included, since those payments go directly to our makeup artists.

How You Can Use Credits

You can apply your earned credits toward:

Extra retouched images | Session upgrades (add more looks next time) | Future headshot sessions

A Few Quick Notes

• Credits apply only when used with a new or returning headshot session (minimum 1-look booking).

  • Referral credits apply toward add-ons, upgrades, or additional looks, but do not reduce the base session fee below the minimum booking rate.

• Credits cannot be used for hair & makeup services.

• Credits are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash, but they do stack — the more people you refer, the more you save.

• Credits expire 12 months after they’re earned.

• We’ll always notify you whenever someone books and lists you as their referral — you’ll know exactly when your credits are added and when they expire.

  • Referral credits apply only up to a maximum of $150 per booked referral.

  • Credits cannot exceed the total balance of your own session invoice when redeemed.

How Fast It Adds Up

• Refer 2 friends who book “The Standard” → $90 credit (enough for two retouches or a session upgrade).

• Refer 4 clients at any level → $120–$300 credit, often enough to bump your own shoot from a 1-look to a 4-look session.

• Refer 8+ people over time → $400–$600 credit, potentially covering most (or all) of your next full headshot session.

Common Questions:

  • No, referral credits are non-transferable and tied to the person who earned them. You can stack your own credits, but they can’t be shared or pooled.

  • No — all sessions require a deposit to secure your date. Credits are applied to the final session balance, not the initial retainer.

  • No — referral credits are only issued when the new client books and pays for their own session. If you purchase a session for someone else, that’s considered your own booking, not a referral.

  • Our referral program is open to past and current clients, as well as individuals who have left a written review about their experience on one of our public pages (Google, Facebook, or LinkedIn).

    Reviews aren’t required, but they help others discover us and allow us to thank those who share the love.

  • Referral credits are designed for actor headshot sessions. For commercial or branding projects, please contact us for a custom quote.

  • Credits remain active for 12 months from the date they’re earned. We’ll always send reminders before they expire, so you never miss your chance to use them!

  • Referral credits are designed primarily for actor headshot sessions, but we love saying thank you for bigger creative connections too!

    For editorial, branding, or creative portrait shoots, we offer:

    • $100 referral credit for half-day or single-session bookings

    • $150 maximum credit for full-day or multi-day commercial or editorial shoots

    Credits for large-scale commercial, unit stills, or production referrals are handled individually as a courtesy thank-you, since those projects vary in scope and licensing.
