  • First off, HAVE FUN! This is an experience and we want you to have the best time ever with us! Let your personality shine and remember this is YOUR time to get pampered and personality always looks best on camera. Also, if you have anything special you want to include in your shoots to make them more personalized, bring it along! (props, pets, ideas, examples etc) We suggest getting rest and lots of hydration the week before your shoot. DO NOT get any Botox, Procedures, Skin Peels etc done at least two weeks before your shoot (schedule them out and make sure you have time to heel) these things may lead to extra heavy makeup, excessive editing fees on back end, or may not be fixable at all depending on the severity of the issue(s).

  • Unless stated in your package / on your invoice images ARE included, they are default sold separately. Your PROOFS are included in all of our session pricing, but Products (prints, digital copies, etc) and licensing / buyouts are priced separately and pricing is sent with your proofs via email. The session pays for the work and time of our professional team to give you a great experience and make sure your products come out as perfect as possible. Editing and processing is a separate cost (not to mention very time consuming) and our products pricing will be emailed with your proofs. If photos are for professional/business use licensing fees calculated by job. You have rights to copys when you purchase digital edits, not own the copy rights. Please be aware of this. Transfer of copyrights are available for purchase on any project / shoot for a nominal fee.

  • That’s awesome that you have already someone you trust to do your hair and makeup! For our shoots, all Josh’s team are recruited and vetted strenuously for their high quality, time management, customer service, team work, etc. They are always booked to be on set with you throughout your shoot (when you add on the hair and makeup options). This means it is a closed set, so if you have one already, you will have to come to your shoot camera ready. If they would like to become a preferred hair & make-up artist that works with Josh and his team and associates, have them contact us directly with their resume’ & portfolio for review and consideration. :)

  • Hair and Make-up is all inclusive type service (meaning of you do not use one or the other it does not change the artists price) it’s kinda like if you order a cheeseburger and it comes with pickles but you ask them to leave off. Doesn’t make the burger cheaper. The artists time is valuable and just like everyone in our industry has a day rate for their services. That’s why we work with the highest quality and esteemed resume people in the industry.

  • Once a package is booked, upgrades are always welcome, but significant downgrades or removals of major add-ons are generally not allowed. This is because certain options require us to block extended time, prepare custom materials, or dedicate resources in advance.

    For example:

    • If you’ve reserved an extended session like the Masterclass, that locks in a full day and includes prep work and materials that begin well before your shoot date.

    • If you’ve booked professional hair & makeup, our team members are scheduled and committed to your day once confirmed.

    • If you’ve added extra looks or slate shots, we prepare lighting and scheduling to match your selections.

Because of this, once booked, those larger elements are considered non-refundable. In rare cases, and only with significant advance notice, we may offer partial credit toward a different package at our discretion — but clients should plan carefully before confirming their package.

  • How long your shoot takes depends all on you. We don’t rush our clientele but if you have a time schedule you need to keep we tell people to pad their time frames. Plan for 1.5 hour per look just incase.

  • We do not do reshoots. Since we shoot digital and you get to view your shots as we go (on a BIG screen tv and computer), you get a good idea if we are capturing what you need. We always tell our clients to be upfront and honest with the team so they can make sure everything is perfect for everyone. The team creates a relaxed environment for you to speak up with any opinions and wants you may need throughout your shoot. Do so ESP if you feel you are not getting the desired shots you are intending to get. There is NO such thing as a bad question. This is also why it is important to do your research on your marketability or discuss with your representation prior to the shoot on how they market you etc. Stating later, after your shoot at any time, that you are not satisfied with your images will not constitute any need for a reshoot or refund. Any additional work or services will have to purchased.

  • We begin processing your images the day after your shoot, provided all fees are up to date. With orders it’s the day after we receive payment in full for your order. Generally, you can expect your proofs/orders to be available within 2-3 weeks. While we aim to deliver sooner, we like to plan for any unexpected delays. If you require a faster turnaround, we offer a 24-hour rush service for an additional fee, similar to next-day shipping.

Once you receive your proofs and final images, please make sure to save them in multiple locations to avoid any potential data loss. If you require us to resend any files, there is a $55 service fee. We kindly ask that you make your image selections within 30 days of receiving them. Long-term storage of images (starts after 6 months) may incur additional fees, and unselected images may be purged from our system after this period.

  • Yes! We understand the importance of preserving your valuable memories. We keep all images for a minimum of one year, provided there are no technical malfunctions or data loss. We strive to keep your images for as long as possible to ensure you can access them when needed. If you'd like to guarantee long-term archival and secure data access, we offer an option to back up your images every year for a fee of $75 annually (that's only $6.25 per month).

If you decide not to opt for the yearly archival service and still wish to access your images for additional edits or purchases in the future, you can contact us. We'll check if we still have your images available, and if so, the cost of archiving will be added to your invoice along with your order. For example, if you had a photoshoot with us 4 years ago and now want to get 5 actor headshot edits done, you'd be charged the standard rate of $45 per edit, along with a $75 archival fee for each year your images are stored.

  • To maintain the highest quality and consistency, all retouching is done in-house. This ensures that each image meets our professional standards and aligns with the polished, refined look we’re known for. By handling retouching ourselves, we’re able to deliver the best possible results efficiently and consistently across all projects.

  • In commercial photography, Usage fees are what the client pays to use the photographer’s images. The client purchases a ‘license’ to ‘use’ the images. Commercial photography, or advertising photography, is used to promote and market products or services. Commercial photographers take pictures of products or subjects for a variety of commercial purposes.

Think about when you want to purchase a stock photo from a stock website. Some photos are considered royalty-free, where you don’t have to spell out the use, and some photos are rights-managed, where the agency (or photographer) controls the use the buyer is allowed. Generally in commercial photography the photographer will be extending usage rights to your clients, so the licensing fees fall under the rights-managed category.

This can be a confusing area for new commercial photographers (and new-to-photography clients), who assume all photography work is ‘work-made-for-hire’, in that once the images are created, they become the property of the person or company commissioning the shoot. e.g. the legal owner of the images is the person/company commissioning the shoot.

This is not the case. At least not in the U.S., where the bulk of ad work is done. The photographer is the legal owner and copyright holder of the images, regardless of whether they were paid for their time to create them or not.

Very few established commercial photographers sell their copyright, because it’s totally unnecessary, but it is an option we offer to clients.

You can look at usage fees like royalty payments. But because you can’t track the use of a photo the same way you can track the playing of a song, the client pre-pays for the estimated future usage. Both parties- photographer and client- work together to try and determine what that usage is/might be. We have done extensive research and come out with a decent low budget for clients to have great photo products and not break the bank.

  • Josh Stringer/JAS Productions hold the copyright to all images taken. Custom licensing and even full copyrights are up for sale just let us know what you need. Licensing fees calculated by job. Photographs are the intellectual property of the creator. Much like software or a book, you can purchase the use, but the creator still owns the material. Josh own the rights to my photographs, but every Josh can write a license that will let you do whatever you need to do. My price will reflect the value of that license. Images will be watermarked in the bottom corners (easily cropped for actors use when printing or uploading to Actors Access etc) but watermark may be removed if copyrights are purchased.

  • Additional edits for actor headshots are $45 each, with all retouching handled in-house to ensure a consistent, high-quality finish that meets our professional standards. We kindly ask that clients refrain from applying any filters or making further edits to maintain the integrity of the images, though light cropping for framing is perfectly fine. This policy helps us ensure your headshots look their absolute best and are optimized for industry standards.

  • Photographs are intellectual property, and licensing their use is how Josh (and all photographers) generate income. The fees for a specific project are based on the use of the photographs because the more the images are used, the greater value they have. Since they’re worth more, they cost more.

  • Yes — it is absolutely standard and industry-appropriate for a full-time professional photographer to charge licensing for realtor headshots and any image used for business or commercial purposes.

    Here’s why:

    What’s normal practice:

When a headshot is used to promote a business, service, or brand — like a realtor on signs, flyers, websites, Instagram ads, or billboards — it’s considered commercial use.

Professional photographers routinely charge licensing for:

    • Realtors

    • Coaches

    • Doctors

    • Attorneys

    • Authors

    • Consultants

    • Anyone using the image to sell a product or service

⚠️ Why some people don’t get charged:

Some part-time photographers or budget studios:

    • Don’t fully understand licensing or skip it to undercut pricing

    • Bundle all usage into a flat rate without breaking it out

    • Don’t plan for long-term image use or commercial distribution

That doesn’t make it right — it just means it wasn’t handled professionally.

    🎯 Bottom line:

If you’re running a business and using professional photos to represent your brand, then licensing is not only appropriate — it’s standard.

It protects both the client and the photographer and ensures the image is being used legally and fairly based on its reach and value.

  • WE LOVE LITTLE FURRY FRIENDS! We do have two studio cats already at the location. Please, Let us know if you’d like to bring your furry friends ahead of time so we can properly put them away so your little one can have a fun safe time, or let you know that we can not accommodate them at this time. Or if you’re allergic to cats we put them away and we have medical grade high output air purifiers on each level so you will not have an issue :) We also clean before and after shoots to minimize any contamination. But just like our Covid protocols we are not responsible for any issues that may come from the animals (ours or yours) and if your animal breaks something, you the client will be responsible for cost of repairs. Please let us know if you want to bring furry friends. If you just show up with them there may be fees with last min accommodations.

  • Business / Corporate / Editorial / Commercial Photography sessions are subject to licensing fees. Licensing fees are calculated after each shoot to customize for each business needs and budgets. Here is a Licensing AOP Cost Calculator or GETTY Images Cost Calculator if you want to see how licensing works and some of the prices it can be. Pricing can vary depending on how many images you want, length of time, usage rights, buyouts etc. We do offer full buyout rights / unlimited licensing time and usage for a fee.

  • Basic understanding: This is standard for EVERY PHOTOGRAPHER

Typically, actors who hire a photographer to take actor headshots do not owe licensing fees to the photographer for using those headshots within the normal acting scope. The photographer usually grants specific usage rights as part of the headshot session, allowing the actor to use the images for casting submissions, general portfolio use, and personal promotion within the acting industry without any additional licensing fees.

In most cases, the fees paid to the photographer cover the cost of the photoshoot session and the usage rights specified in the agreement. The actor is free to use the headshots for their intended purposes within the agreed scope without owing any additional fees.

However, if the actor decides to use the headshots for commercial purposes, such as selling a service, using them in advertisements, or making a profit (e.g., for acting workshops, classes, or other businesses), then they may be required to negotiate separate licensing terms and pay additional fees to the photographer for such extended use.

It's essential for both the actor and the photographer to have a clear understanding of the usage rights and any potential licensing fees before the headshot session to avoid any misunderstandings or legal issues later on. Communication and transparency in the agreement are key to ensuring a smooth and fair relationship between the actor and the photographer.

Actors typically pay licensing fees to the photographer when their headshots are used outside of the normal acting scope for several reasons:

    1. Usage Rights: When actors hire a photographer to take their headshots, they are usually granted specific usage rights that dictate how the images can be used. The scope of usage rights typically covers casting submissions, general portfolio use, and personal promotion within the acting industry.

    2. Protecting the Photographer's Work: Photographers retain the copyright to their images, and licensing fees help protect their intellectual property rights. By paying licensing fees for specific uses beyond the agreed scope, actors ensure that they are using the images legally and respecting the photographer's creative work.

    3. Commercial Use vs. Personal Use: Using headshots for casting submissions and general portfolio purposes is considered personal use within the acting industry. However, when headshots are used for commercial purposes, such as selling a service, advertising, or making a profit (e.g., for acting workshops, classes, or other businesses), it falls outside the original intended scope of usage.

    4. Fair Compensation: Licensing fees provide fair compensation to the photographer for the additional value generated from commercial use. Commercial usage has the potential to generate revenue or promote services, and licensing fees ensure that the photographer receives appropriate compensation for their work's extended reach.

    5. Legal Compliance: Adhering to licensing agreements and paying appropriate fees ensures that actors and businesses using the headshots are in compliance with copyright laws and industry standards. It helps avoid legal issues related to copyright infringement.

In summary, actors pay licensing fees when using their headshots for commercial purposes or any use beyond the normal acting scope to respect the photographer's work, protect their intellectual property, and ensure legal compliance. It's essential for both parties to have a clear understanding of the usage rights and licensing terms when engaging in a professional headshot session.

When would a client owe licensing fees to a photographer for their photos?

A client would owe licensing fees to a photographer when they want to use the photos beyond the scope of the initial agreement or the standard usage rights granted. Licensing fees come into play when the client desires to utilize the photos for specific purposes that were not covered in the original agreement.

Here are some common scenarios where licensing fees might be applicable:

    1. Commercial Use: If the client intends to use the photos for commercial purposes, such as in advertisements, promotional materials, or product packaging, it would require an extended license beyond the standard personal or editorial use.

    2. Resale or Distribution: If the client plans to resell or distribute the photos to others, they would need a licensing agreement that grants them the right to do so.

    3. Exclusive Use: If the client wants exclusive rights to the photos, preventing the photographer from selling or licensing the images to others, they would need to negotiate an exclusive licensing agreement, which often comes at a higher cost.

    4. Multiple Projects: If the client intends to use the photos across multiple projects or for an extended period, they may need to pay licensing fees for each additional use or duration beyond the initial agreement.

    5. Use in Merchandise: If the client wants to use the photos on merchandise such as mugs, calendars, or clothing, they would need a licensing agreement allowing this type of use.

It's essential for clients and photographers to discuss the intended use of the photos during the initial agreement or contract negotiation. This way, the photographer can specify the appropriate licensing terms and any associated fees for the client's desired use. Having a clear understanding of licensing rights and fees ensures a fair and mutually beneficial arrangement between the client and the photographer.

How much are licensing fees usually for photos from the photographer?

The cost of licensing fees for photos from a photographer can vary widely depending on several factors, including the photographer's experience, the type of usage, the exclusivity of the license, the size of the intended audience, and the duration of use. Licensing fees can be calculated based on a variety of factors and can be charged as a one-time fee, a recurring fee, or a percentage of the project's budget.

As a rough estimate, licensing fees can range from a few hundred dollars for basic usage rights to several thousand dollars or more for exclusive, commercial, or extensive use. For example:

    1. Personal or Editorial Use: For non-commercial, personal, or editorial use, licensing fees may be relatively affordable, ranging from $50 to $500 or more, depending on factors such as image resolution and intended reach.

    2. Commercial Use: For commercial use, where the photos will be used for advertising, marketing, or promotional purposes, the licensing fees can vary significantly based on the project's scale, audience, and exclusivity. It can range from hundreds to thousands of dollars per image.

    3. Exclusive Use: If the client requires exclusive rights to the photos, preventing the photographer from licensing the images to others, the licensing fees would be higher and could be negotiated based on the exclusivity period and usage scope.

It's important to note that licensing fees can be customized based on the specific needs and requirements of the client. Photographers may have standard licensing packages or be willing to negotiate custom agreements to accommodate the client's budget and usage needs.

Ultimately, the cost of licensing fees is determined by the unique circumstances of each project and the value placed on the photographer's work. It's essential for both the client and the photographer to discuss the intended use and licensing terms to reach a fair agreement that benefits both parties.

The photographs are of me / my face! Why would I owe the photographer licensing fees after I paid for their services ?

In this scenario, you are typically granted personal usage rights for the photos, which means you can use them for non-commercial purposes such as personal use, social media, or for your portfolio without any additional fees.

When photographers charge for their services and you pay for a photoshoot, the fee usually covers the photographer's time, expertise, and the cost of producing the images. It may also include a specific package of usage rights, allowing you to use the photos for personal or promotional purposes within the normal scope of the agreement.

However, if you decide to use the photos for commercial purposes, sell the photos, or use them in ways not covered by the initial agreement (e.g., using them in advertisements, promotional materials, or merchandise for profit), then you may need to negotiate additional licensing rights with the photographer, and additional fees might apply for such extended usage.

In short, for personal or non-commercial use of photos featuring yourself, you typically wouldn't owe the photographer licensing fees beyond what you paid for their services. Always clarify the usage rights and terms with the photographer during the initial agreement to avoid any misunderstandings.

How much and how often do I owe licensing fees to the photographer for using the pictures?

The frequency and amount of licensing fees you owe to the photographer for using the pictures depend on the specific terms and conditions outlined in your initial agreement with the photographer. Licensing fees are typically applicable when you want to use the photos beyond the scope of the standard usage rights included in the original package you paid for.

Here are some factors that can affect the frequency and amount of licensing fees:

    1. Types of Usage: The photographer may charge different fees based on the types of usage you want. Commercial use, advertisements, promotional materials, merchandise, or any other extended uses beyond personal or editorial use may incur additional fees.

    2. Duration of Use: Licensing fees can also be influenced by the duration for which you want to use the photos. The longer you want to use the images, the higher the licensing fees might be.

    3. Exclusive Rights: If you require exclusive rights to the photos, preventing the photographer from licensing the images to others, this exclusivity will usually come with a higher licensing fee.

    4. Number of Images: Some photographers may charge based on the number of images you want to use commercially or for extended purposes.

    5. Usage Reach: The size of the audience or the scale of the project can also affect licensing fees. Larger audiences or widespread use might result in higher fees.

It's important to note that licensing fees are negotiable, and the photographer may have different packages or options available for your specific needs. Always discuss the intended use of the photos and any licensing requirements with the photographer during the initial agreement to avoid any surprises regarding fees.

To determine the exact amount and frequency of licensing fees, you need to have a clear understanding of the intended use and negotiate with the photographer accordingly. It's essential to communicate openly and transparently to ensure a fair arrangement for both parties.

  • This isn’t your typical list and it shouldn’t be. You taking headshots and its not often that a person focuses this much attention to a professional photographer. You need to be at your best and I believe this guide I have created below, will give wardrobe the proper love it deserves. So let’s start.

The main focus of the headshot should be your face, and the only thing that can be distracting in an image is your clothing. You want a photo that will be striking and stand out from the others in a good way. In a way that represents you and gives everyone the most accurate depictions of you. This is not glamour shots and your clothing needs to reflect you.

Here are some tips to help you prepare for your headshot so we can achieve the best image possible.

Wear a top that is a solid color. Prints and patterns do not photograph nearly as well, and may take away from the focal point of the headshot–your face. Also try to avoid writing and logos on any shirts. They will do no favors and always end up distract the frame. Try to bring one option that matches and another that compliments your eye color – this can make your eyes pop. Textures can work but no patterns.

Focus on bringing a variety of necklines– this is all that will show in the majority of your shots. If you want to elongate your neck, wear a v-neck. To show off your collarbones, wear a scoop-necked shirt. Women, bring at least three Kami’s and Braw. I would like to recommend a black, nude, and white bra. This give use the most options with wardrobe.

Colors should be earth-toned and compliment the skin, hair and eyes. Neon and overly saturated color shirts will take focus away from you. If you have brown eyes, greens, blues or light browns will work the best. DO bring plain white and black shirts, these are good for your upstart and basic pics that everyone needs for their portfolios. Layering clothing can give you dimension and give your personality a different feel.

Bring several choices of tops with you to the photo shoot. This will give you options. Sometimes, what looks good in person does not look as good on film and vice versa. Therefore, you will want to have options and be able to change your look.

1 Look please bring 5-6 Tops

2 Look please bring 6-8 Tops

3 Look please bring 7-10 Tops

Resist the urge to wear accessories. In terms of headshots, less is more.

Make sure your clothing is well-fitted to your body. Tailored clothing goes a long way to making a shoot look great. Avoid bulky or rumpled clothes.

Don’t worry so much about your pants! Odds are slim we’ll ever see them but just in case please bring a dark pair of denim jeans.

Other things to consider before your headshot:

Make sure to drink lots of water in the week leading up to your shoot.

Make sure you are well-rested for the shoot.

Try to avoid excessive drinking or smoking in the week leading to the shoot – the effects on your skin will show in the photographs.

Lastly, If you have an agent please consult with them to determine the image types they want. This will greatly help you being successful in this industry. If you don’t have an agent then you need to analyze yourself and see what jobs you might be auditioning for. Common “types” for Men: Young CEO, Boy next door, athletic fit, grandpa, young dad. Common “types” for Women: Young Mom (ages18-29), Mom, young CEO, young business casual, Girl next door. I also recommend that you look at TV and print Ads and envision the roles you honestly see yourself playing.

    MEN

*For corporate/professional shots, bring a few dress shirts (white, light blue, yellow etc.) and a few ties, all freshly pressed.

*Shave right before appointment, unless you are going for a scruffy look. Bring a razor and shaving cream in case you decide to go for the clean shaven look during the shoot. In which case you should bring your own razor and shaving cream to shave part of the way through the session.

*If you color your hair, make sure roots are not visible. It is extremely difficult and cost-prohibitive to correct.

*Earrings and uni-brows are not recommended.

    Women

*For corporate/professional shots, bring solid color middle tone or dark pantsuit/skirt and a few long sleeve shirts (light color) that work under the jacket, all freshly pressed.

*If you color your hair, make sure roots are not visible. It is extremely difficult and cost-prohibitive to correct.

    *Remove any unwanted facial hair.

    *Make-up and hair stylist recommended.

    Children

*Solid vibrant, middle tone/true colors recommended. No patterns or logos.

*Short or long sleeve Tee shirts, Polo shirts, Denim shirts with a Tee under.

NOTE FOR EVERYONE: DO NOT DO SKIN TREATMENTS, BOTOX, TANNING, NEW SKIN CARE REGIMENTS, ETC… BEFORE YOUR SHOOT. Skin needs time to recoup and tanning isn’t your real skin tone. It will alter the quality of your pics. If you skin has negative effects, takes longer to heal etc. It may mean you forfeit your deposit or you will have to have extensive makeup to cover the issues. Consult your skin care people at least A MONTH before your shoot. Plan accordingly. escription

  • Great question! And yes — you always get to choose your own images.

Here’s how it works (super simple):

    1. When you receive your gallery, each photo has a file name/number.

    2. Just email us the list of the file names/numbers you’d like.

    3. That’s it — we’ll handle the rest.

When do I need to make my selections?

    • Any images included in your session package should be chosen within 30 days of receiving your gallery.

    • If you purchase additional images, please also send those selections right away.

    • After 30 days, any included images are considered forfeited since we can’t put projects on hold indefinitely.

    How much are additional images?

    Actor Headshots: $45 each

All Other Sessions: You’ll receive a pricing booklet with full rates and breakdowns for extra images and editing.

    Why the 30-day window?

We want you to enjoy your images quickly and stress-free. Sending your selections right away ensures:

    • You get your edits and finals faster

    • Nothing slips through the cracks

    • Our schedule stays on track without delays

How often should I update my headshots or branding portraits?

It depends a little on your industry and how much your look or brand changes, but here are some helpful guidelines:

Actors & Performers: Every 6–12 months, or sooner if you’ve made a noticeable change (new haircut, facial hair, weight change, etc.). Casting directors need to see you as you are today.

Corporate / Business Professionals: Every 2–3 years, or when you change companies, roles, or want to refresh your professional presence online.

Branding Portraits (Entrepreneurs, Creatives, Influencers): Every 1–2 years, or anytime you launch a new product, service, or rebrand. A fresh set of images keeps your audience engaged and your message consistent.

Pageant / Modeling / Personal Branding: Usually annually, as agencies and judges want up-to-date, polished photos.

Rule of thumb: If your photo doesn’t look like you right now, or it feels outdated when compared to your competitors, it’s time to refresh.

  • We totally get that life happens — Atlanta traffic, wardrobe malfunctions, rogue coffee spills — but sessions do need to start and end right at your scheduled time.

FIRST, email us if you’re running late.

Josh books back-to-back shoots, so if you arrive late, that time simply eats into your session (and can’t roll into the next client’s).

    Here’s how it breaks down:

Up to 15 minutes late: We’ll keep shooting with the remaining time — no refunds or make-ups.

More than 30 minutes late: The session may be canceled and treated as a no-show, and the all payments are forfeited.

If the schedule allows, a same-day reschedule might be possible with a $100 reschedule fee, but it isn’t guaranteed.

We always want you to get the full experience, so plan to arrive a few minutes early to settle in, grab a drink, and get comfortable before we start.

By booking a session and submitting your deposit, you agree to the terms below.

    Hair & Makeup

    • Session rates include standard hair and makeup applications.

    • Extra services (such as excessive length, thick hair, washing, texturing, or extensions) may incur additional charges, which will be quoted and approved before work begins.

    • If you bring your own artist, all work must be completed before arrival — our sets are closed, and only our team is present during the shoot.

    • Same-day additions for hair and makeup are subject to artist availability and a rush booking fee.

    Retouching & Photo Editing

ActorRetouching ($45/image) ALL Other Sessions ($85/image - bulk discounts pricing sent with PROOFS): Blemish removal, light skin smoothing, and minor flyaway cleanup.

Photo Editing ($120/hour): Advanced edits such as fabric wrinkle removal, background changes, tattoo removal, or hair adjustments.

    • Retouching and editing are not included in the base session fee unless specifically stated on your quote or invoice.

    Booking, Deposits & Cancellations

    • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date and time.

    • The remaining balance is due 24 hours before your session begins.

    • Cancellations or no-shows forfeit all payments.

    *ALL SALES ARE FINAL*

    Rescheduling

    • Reschedules made with at least two weeks’ notice may transfer the original deposit to a new date within 30 days of the original session.

    • Reschedules made with less than two weeks’ notice require a new deposit.

    • Only one reschedule is allowed per booking and must have a valid reason with proof (e.g., doctor’s note for illness).

    • Work-related schedule conflicts do not qualify for complimentary reschedules.

    • For outdoor shoots, one weather-related reschedule is allowed.

    Late Arrivals & Shoot Time

    • Please plan to arrive early to allow time for parking and prep.

    • Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. Late arrivals reduce your available shoot time.

Up to 15 minutes late: We’ll shoot with the remaining time — no refunds or make-ups.

30+ minutes late: The session may be canceled and treated as a no-show.

    • If the schedule allows, a same-day reschedule may be offered for a $100 fee, but availability is not guaranteed.

    Holding Studio Time & Extensions

    • The time you book is the time reserved. Please schedule enough time for the number of looks or wardrobe changes you’d like.

    • Extensions may be available at an additional hourly rate, pending availability.

    Reshoots & Refunds

    • We do not offer reshoots or refunds due to personal preference (e.g., “I don’t like how I look”).

    • Reshoots are only granted in rare cases of technical failure or data loss.

    • You’ll view your shots during the session, so please speak up if something feels off — we’ll adjust in real time.

    • Our lighting and editing style are consistent throughout our portfolio; please review our galleries before booking to ensure our aesthetic fits your goals.

    Rush Orders & Last-Minute Bookings

    • Book at least two weeks in advance to avoid rush or last-minute booking fees.

    • Any booking made within 14 days of the shoot date may be subject to a last-minute booking fee.

    • Rush editing (24-hour turnaround) is available at an additional cost, based on the number and complexity of requested images.
